Parkside wagon kits are a large range of 00 gauge plastic wagon kits from Peco. Some of the kits have been re-branded from Peco's popular Ratio range.
The kits are fairly easy to construct and a good place to start for modellers new to kit building. The range is extensive with close to 100 different models to choose from including open plank wagons, box vans, plate wagons, bolster wagons, mineral wagons, utility vans, carriage trucks, brake vans, hoppers and many more.
The kits are supplied with a chassis, body shell, wheels and waterslide transfers. Some of the older models in the range come with tension lock couplings included too, but it's more common for the models to come without couplings as many kit builders prefer to choose their own. All models require painting and it is advised that modellers add weights as plastic wagons can be rather light.
Parkside wagons are reasonably priced and a great way to build a fleet of wagons on your layout whilst gaining experience building and painting kits.
