How do I glue plastic models to a diorama covered in scatter?
Deciding which glue to use when attaching plastic models to a baseboard is tricky enough at the best of times, but when your baseboard is covered with scatter, it can be a real head-scratcher.
Fortunately, this is one time when there is no big secret or complicated technique involved. Simply use a good PVA such as Deluxe Materials' Speed Bond.
PVAs are good at sticking to plastic as well as penetrating porous materials like scatter, so it should work just fine. We would, however, advise that you set your scatter in place first using a diluted PVA solution.
If PVA doesn't work for some reason, you can always turn to good old cyanoacrylate (Superglue) to stick your models down, but again, make sure it's a good one!
