Do pilots come with model plane kits?
The vast majority of model plane kits do not come with pilots and these will need to be sourced separately.
They are available from specialist suppliers so you shouldn't have any trouble obtaining one, but if you are not experienced in building models, our top tip is to make a note of your model's scale. The scale of your model is a way of measuring its size in relation to the aircraft it's based on, and if you order a pilot in a different scale to that of your model, it will appear either be too big or too small.
Finding the scale of your model is easy as it will be printed somewhere on the box it came in and look like this 1:48 (but the last two numbers may differ depending on the scale of your model).
Pilots are available as full figures or are sometimes represented by just their upper half to make them easier to fit into the cockpit, so have a look at your model to see which type will work best for you before choosing one.
