What are clip-on spectacle mags?

Clip-on spectacle mags are individual magnifying lenses for people who wear glasses but still struggle to see close up while modelling. The device looks very similar to a single lens of a pair of swimming goggles and simply clips onto the frame of your regular eyewear.

They are not a substitute for prescription spectacles and work the same way as off-the-shelf reading glasses being offered in a range of pre-determined magnifications acting more as a handsfree magnifying glass than a solution to an eyesight condition.

Spectacle mags are ideal for modellers undertaking close up work or soldering where precision is important and where otherwise they may strain to see finer details.
