As Sundeala is not actually a wood and is made from recycled paper, it is not the best thing to be making the base board for your railway layout.
There are several reasons for this:
It is not even cheaper than wood: for the same price (or less) you can get plywood or chipboard.
In my view this is not even a cheap alternative to wood, it is a railway modelling disaster waiting to happen.
