Can I use a digital power clip with an analogue layout?
There are many types of power clip available to attach power cables to model railway track, and in the main, they all do the same job, but there does seem to be a little confusion surrounding digital power clips.
Digital power clips are often thought of as having extra technology inside because of their title. But in fact, there is less technology in a digital power clip than there is in a regular one.
Some regular power clips have a suppressor inside to limit interference with any wireless gadgetry nearby. However, digital power clips do not feature such technology as it would interfere with digital commands.
To that end, if you wish to use a digital power clip with an analogue layout, it will not cause you any problems, your smart TV might go bonkers though!
