What is a micromesh polishing cloth?

Micromesh polishing cloths are traditionally used for polishing delicate or valuable items such as jewellery and glass to remove fine scratches or blemishes without damaging the product.

This also makes them of particular interest to modellers for removing imperfections before painting a final coat, their fine grades of abrasiveness makes them ideal for dealing with tiny surface scratches without causing damage to paintwork.

There are often specific instructions for use so it would be ill-advised to grab a cloth and start scrubbing, but used correctly, polishing cloths can help you achieve a high-quality finish to your model.
