How do you stop old decals flaking off models?
When models get a little older they can often suffer from their decals starting to crack or flake. This can be very annoying or even heartbreaking for prised models, but there is something you can do.
Microscale is a brand of decal finishing products with a range specially designed to help with the application, removal, restoration and preservation of decals. If you have a model with decals starting to show signs of perishing, a quick coat of Microscale Gloss, Flat or Satin (depending on the finish of your model) will provide a seal that ensures your decals remain firmly attached.
If on the other hand, you have any older decals that have yet to be applied, Microscale Decal Film is a formula designed to be applied to ageing or dried decals before they are applied to models, so now you can still use those old decals that have seen better days.
