All Hornby track is compatible with Peco track.
There is a misconception that different brands will not work together. This is not the case as all track for OO scale has 16.5mm spacing between the track.
There is a small difference in colour of the sleepers as well as a difference in spacing of the sleepers. However, once ballasted, this is barely noticeable.
So if you use Peco track and have some spare Hornby points, you can definitely add them to your layout. If the difference in sleeper spacing and colour is an issue, simply use them in the fiddle yard.
