Most larger railway stations feature at least some shops, whether it be because the station is located in a town centre or because they form part of a purpose-built shopping precinct to service commuters, this double shop frontage from Wills is ideal for creating a busy station forecourt scene. The model can also be used to create shops under some railway arches with only modest modelling skills. A truly versatile kit to help you create a realistic scene on your layout.
The model comes supplied as a plastic kit that requires assembly, the parts are made from pre-coloured material for convenience but painting or weathering will add realism (paints and glue not included). Features include glazing (fashioned from the product packaging), moulded brickwork and cardboard cut-out sections that can be used to represent shop interiors (estate agent and florist).
The completed model is low-relief and measures 138mm across by 9mm deep with a height of approximately 58mm.
