Inspection Ramp for buses, lorries and other large road vehicles, in OO gauge from Knightwing.
All large commercial vehicles whether it be HGVs or PSVs (PCVs) have to undergo regular inspections, this involves mechanics and fitters being able to gain access to the underside of the vehicle, this is something that is often done using an inspection ramp at a garage, workshop or the vehicle's depot. Inspection ramps are also used for steam cleaning the chassis and engine bays of buses and lorries before they are presented for MOT.
This model of an inspection ramp comes as a plastic kit that requires assembly and painting (glue and paints not included). The completed model measures approximately 260mm long, 35mm wide and has a height of 20mm at the raised end.
