BR 24.5 ton Coal Wagon
These wagons were built to replace the pre- nationalisation wooden bodied LOCO coal wagons then in use.
However they became most widely used for carrying coal to power stations and large works. They have also been used for carrying stone and aggregate traffic.
This finely moulded plastic wagon kit comes complete with pin point axle wheels and bearings. Glue and paint will be required, along with appropriate transfers. Additional parts to enable the vehicle to be modelled incorporating modifications made to the prototypes during their working life are included where appropriate.
Comes with metal wheels. Coupling required.
