Tralee & Dingle Railway , Covered Cattle & G.Van 9mm
Information on Tralee & Dingle rolling stock is scarce, but it would appear that the Bristol Wagon & Carriage Works built 26 four wheel covered goods vans between 1890 and 1897. In 1940, 10 of these vans were modified by the addition of sliding ventilators on their sides, thus enabling them to be used for cattle or goods traffic as required. The butter van was a derivative of the standard van with added louvres and bonnet ventilators. All these vehicles lasted until final disposal in 1954.
