LMS 12ton Wood-bodied Van 9' (D1664 built 1924-1926) - Unventilated, "Wood ends" - OO unpainted plastic kit
Require glue, paint, transfers, couplings, wheels (Gibson 12mm & brass bearings) to complete.
D1664 unfitted type, steel underframe (9' 0" wb./ 17' 6" oh.). These were a modified version of the MR D664 van, the differences being reversal of the diagonal side strapping, and a backwards step in the reduction of the wheelbase to 9 feet. It may be that this was suitable for use in yards having wagon turntables. 2.544 vans were built between 1924 and 1926. Some vans remained in use until the 1960s.
