More info

Based on a real bus shelter located on the corner of Fosse Road North & Groby Road in Leicester, this 1930's art deco style bus/tram shelter will become a real focal point on your OO gauge model railway layout or 1:76 scale diecast diorama. The shelter was originally a tram shelter but has now been adopted as a bus shelter.

We've worked hard to create a faithful reproduction of the shelter in miniature and have included two sets of paper wraps to enable you to model it in its present condition & a more pristine version representing its condition earlier in its life. The present day option features internal graffiti, missing glazing, worn roof covering, damaged downspouts and heavily worn floor tiling. The more pristine version has much less weathering, freshly painted interior walls, glazing, intact drainpipes and clean floor tiles.

This OO gauge bus shelter kit comprises of laser cut MDF and laserboard parts for ease of assembly. The wall, floor and roof textures are supplied pre-printed onto matt white paper which when applied to the MDF parts leave no visible cut edges for a realistically better finish.

The laserboard window frames can be glazed if required using part of the kits cellophane packaging and will require painting prior to assembly. This can be done with acrylic paints applied by brush or spray.

Key Features:

  • Choose from pristine or heavily weathered finish during assembly
  • Laser cut MDF core parts for quick and easy construction
  • No visible cut edges when complete
  • Step by Step photographic instructions included.

Fully compatible with all model railway brands & buildings.
