Bachmann Branchline 30-575 The Railway Children Train Pack with GWR 57xx Pannier in GNSR livery, 2 x GNSR Coaches & Scenecraft Oakworth Station Building.
This collectable gift pack will delight fans young and old, of the popular childrens' film. Based on the novel of the same name by E. Nesbit. The film follows the adventures of the Waterbury children on the fictional 'Great Northern and Southern Railway' in Yorkshire. Director Lionel Jeffries found everything he needed on the newly preserved Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, using the restored station at Oakworth as his primary location and the railways' fleet of historic Edwardian era coaches for the trains.
This train pack features the K&WVRs' ex-GWR, ex-LT, 57xx pannier tank locomotive painted in the films' GNSR ochre livery hauling a train of two panelled coaches in GNSR livery, a suitably decorative style for the era being portrayed.
A ready-made resin Scenecraft model of Oakworth station building has been commissioned to complete this train pack.
