Lima L205132 GWR Diesel Railcar No. 22 in Brown & Cream.
In the 1930s, the Great Western Railway introduced a number of successful railcar vehicles onto their network, which survived in regular use into the 1960s. They experimented with different designs into the 1940s, ending with the GWR Swindon-built batches which featured dual AEC 105 bhp engines. These later designs featured angular bodywork, which contrasted the streamlined bodies of the originals and earned them the "razor edge" nickname. Two of the Swindon-built units still survive in preservation.
This engine is in exceptional condition with no signs of wear and tear. We carried out a light services and fully tested it and it runs very well. Weight has been added to improve running.
