Two Lima GWR Railcars comprising of:
Lima L205132 GWR Diesel Railcar No. 22 in Brown & Cream
Lima L205143 GWR Parcels Railcar - No. 34 in GWR Brown and Cream
In the 1930s, the Great Western Railway introduced a number of successful railcar vehicles onto their network, which survived in regular use into the 1960s. They experimented with different designs into the 1940s, ending with the GWR Swindon-built batches which featured dual AEC 105 bhp engines. These later designs featured angular bodywork, which contrasted the streamlined bodies of the originals and earned them the "razor edge" nickname. Two of the Swindon-built units still survive in preservation.
Both engines are in excellent condition, one has a tiny amount of damage to a buffer bar. Both have had a complete motor strip and service and run really well
They are both in their original boxes
