Oxford Rail OR76AR006 Class 415 Adams Radial 4-4-2T 3520 in Southern Railway green DCC Ready (8 Pin)
The LSWR 415 class was designed by William Adams for use on passenger services for the LSWR. They featured a 4-4-2T wheel arrangement with the trailing wheels forming the basis of its āRadial Tankā or āAdams Radialā nickname. They were originally rostered for use on suburban traffic but were soon displaced to the countryside. The majority of the class were scrapped following WW1, however, some survived and were notable for their long service on the Lyme Regis branch line - where some operated right up to 1962.
