Wrenn W2219 2-6-4 Tank Engine in LMS Livery, Unlined.
This engine is in excellent condition with no signs of wear to the body at all. The engine was mothballed in 1978 and has sat oiled up since then. It has had a full service and runs perfectly.
It comes in its original box in good condition, along with its instruction manual and alternative coupling.

Built for local passenger services the 4P Class commonly ran at 80 mph and were still economical to operate. The LMS at one time had 645 2-6-4 tank engines for their vast suburban requirements.
The 4MT Standard Tank was based on the EX-H/Dublo model released in 1967. This variation of the standard tank loco was produced by Wrenn at Basildon. Production commenced in early 1972 and ceased 1992, model reference W2219.
Three variants of this model were produced both lined and unlined and alternative bright yellow lining. All however came with the same running number 2679
