Pigments - Carbon Smoke

The pigments from Vallejo are especially suitable to represent a large range of different climatic and geographical conditions of terrain on layouts.

Their micronized formula allows a very easily dispersion in any liquid medium, from water to acrylic resins or turpentine.

We suggest using Matt Medium for a better adhesion to all surfaces, but you can also use Glaze Medium which dries more slowly and offers more time to simulate mud or snow run-offs, for example.

Alternatively, by mixing these pigments with other product as Water&Stone paints and Transparent Water, several special effects can be obtained, especially oil and grease stains on buildings and vehicles. With Sandy Paste, you can create coarse surfaces like dried mud and flaking rust.
