Wildlife Standoff

The Wildlife Standoff is a unique cameo scene depicting a pack of four hungry wolves surrounding a feisty buck. The animals are positioned with three of the wolves moving in for the kill whilst the fourth howls for reinforcements, the buck however, looks like he is ready for the fight with his head bowed and antlers at the ready.

These models can be used as intended in this scenario or very similar one but could also be used separately in a cameo scene portraying the open wilderness or in captivity in a zoo or wildlife park.

The set by Woodland Scenics is produced to a high quality and comes fully painted.

The buck measures 11mm at its highest point whilst the wolves vary in height between a crouching 6mm and the howler which can be placed on its included log for visual interest and reaches 16mm. The set is modelled in 1:87 scale (H0 gauge) which is also compatible with 00 gauge.

Figures in HO gauge (1/87 scale) are same scale as and fully compatible with Hornby trains and accessories. A typical man is about 20 to 25mm (3/4in to 1 inch) tall in this scale while a labrador is 8mm (5/16 inch) tall.
