More info

Lighting Effects for model houses, shops, station buildings and engine sheds etc. By Train-Tech.

This innovative control unit by Train-Tech is one of the simplest ways to install and operate building lighting on a layout or diorama. Full clear instructions are included to help you install the unit to either a DCC or Analogue layout and the special screw terminals means no soldering is required.

What does this unit do?
The unit has four outlets (channels). Each outlet will power four LEDs. That means you can install up to 16 LEDs on your layout using just this unit. Once wired in, the unit will automatically switch your lights on and off at timed intervals in a pattern that gives the effect of life inside your model buildings.

What's involved in the installation?
Installation is simple as the unit takes care of all the complicated circuitry. There is no need to worry about decoders (for DCC operation) or resisters etc, the unit has been fitted with everything you need. All you have to do is attach a few wires to the screw terminals, and your good to go.

What's included in the pack?
The pack includes the unit and four LEDs to get you started. You will need to supply additional LEDs and the wires needed to connect your lighting to the unit.

What's needed to power the unit?
If you are using DCC, simply wire the unit directly to a section of powered track on your layout. If you are using an analogue controller, run a wire from the 12-16v auxiliary port on your controller. If you do not have an auxiliary port, you can operate this unit from a 9v battery.
