The 27 Ton Steel Tippler Wagons were built by British Railways to convey bulk materials like stone, ore and, in this case, chalk. Having no doors, these wagons were unloaded by means of a rotary tippler. Whether you wish to form a complete train of chalk wagons, or add one or two to a mixed goods rake, this Graham Farish model in BR Grey livery is just the solution for anyone wishing to depict freight trains from the 1950s onwards.
