From the Wheat State of Kansas registered SM3333, here comes the two-tone green Dodge Sweptside Pick up from 1957. Chrysler launched the D series in 1957 under the Sweptside pick-up title. In real life, the vehicle was not a success but today it is an icon of that era of motoring. The model is essentially a cab with an open back which features a tonneau cover in the same dark green as the bodywork. The interior repeats the light green body colour and additional detail includes the Dodge name printed on the rear tailgate. And just look at those whitewall tyres!
