Austin 1300 Harvest Gold

In real life, the Austin 1300 GT was designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and manufactured first by BMC and then British Leyland. Classed as an economical small family car, the 1300 GT was built between 1962 and 1974, proving to be the best selling British car of the time.

This replica of the four door hatchback is registered LHC 792K from 1972. Decorated in one of the most popular colour schemes of the time – a mustard gold with black masked roof and black interior, the exterior chrome work includes the bumpers, wheels and the 1300 GT marque across the back while the Austin badge sits at the centre top of the radiator. We love the sporty chrome band along the sides, too!
