Freelance in design, these models are typical of the type seen on many narrow gauge railways around the world. Bolster wagons, used in pairs, are ideal for transporting long loads such as pipes, rails or logs.

Peco's models represent a type with a steel underframe and wooden planking on top. Although at first glance the decoration of the models might seem minimal the texture of the wooden planks are nicely reproduced and painted.
