Consisting of a one-piece body moulding, one-piece underframe/chassis, wheelsets and couplings, they are essentially unpainted, unassembled versions of our famous ready-to-run range.

One simple way to add variety to your goods wagon fleet is to build some from the many kits on offer. To do so will also add some fun and satisfaction into to your modelling activities. This kit from Peco builds into a 15ft wheelbase box van based on a 1940s LNER design. The real things were initially used to carry fish, usually packed in light wooden boxes. Some were later converted to carry parcels by BR, In common with the other Peco N gauge wagon kits, everything is included except glue, paint and transfers. The body is one-piece, as is the chassis block, making for quick assembly for which instructions are included. A suitable glue is DLAD-24 Plastic Magic. For paint choose either white (RM1421 spray can, RM2421 for brush application), BR Blue (RM1207 spray can, RM2207 for brush application), or one of the many authentic rail colours from Railmatch to suit your chosen prototype. Finish off with transfers from the range by Woodland Scenics.
