Stork Figure

Previously thought to be closely related to the heron and ibis, the stork is now recognised as the independent character it is. They have a cosmopolitan distribution, being found across Europe, Africa and Asia. While they do not settle in the UK, they have been spotted in recent years during their migration. Any koi carp owners had better beware.
