Water rescue set 2 HO

HO Action Set, Water Rescue set 2. This is an interesting hand-painted plastic figure set configured for a waterborne safety patrol or search and rescue (SAR) scenario. The main focus of this set is a small rescue boat with an outboard motor. The male helmsman is dressed in red overalls and is wearing an orange lifejacket. He is steering the boat by the outboard's tiller and appears to be actively looking for a casualty or other object in the water. With him in the boat are two Newfoundland dogs, one brown and one black. Both are wearing life preservers and are actively looking out for any casualty in the water. The rescue boat also has two hi-viz red lifebuoys which can be positioned in the boat or on the water at the discretion of the modeller. This is an interesting set and will make a striking visual feature on any water-based diorama. The rescue boat could easily be configured to assist a casualty in the water or it could similarly be configured as a training exercise with the boat attempting to recover one of the included lifebuoys.
