Travellers Aid (6) Figure Set

This is a hand-painted plastic figure set containing 6 figures. The set consists of 6 unique and individual adults figures and all are in standing or walking poses. Three of the figures are configured as Travellers Aid operatives, who are employed to assist travellers with all aspects of their journeys. The three operatives are all female and are wearing smart uniforms consisting of black trousers and blue gilets. One of the operatives is assisting an elderly man with a walking stick by supporting his arm as he walks. The other two operatives are posed ready to assist as required. The final two figures are an elderly man and his wife who are travelling together. The travellers are all attired as if for a long journey with sturdy jackets, coats and travel bags in evidence. this is an interesting and unusual set that would lend itself well to a number of travel-related themes, such as a coach excursion or for new arrivals being greeted at a hotel or country retreat.
