Dust Monkeys (OO/HO Scale)

Dust Monkeys are an easy and convenient way to remove dust from track and stop further accumulation during regular train operation.

No, these are nothing to do with the local zoo, but the reference to monkeys is made because these clever devices hang from a suitable axle rather like a monkey hanging on to a branch of a tree!

However, there the similarity ends, as these are much more discrete than monkeys! Once clipped onto a suitable axle, these can be used to prevent dust and dirt build up on your track whilst you are enjoying an operating session. One or two of these placed in suitable trains that are in regular service on your layout can reduce or even eliminate the need for dedicated track cleaning sessions!

You could have 2 in a train; the leading one slightly moistened with track cleaning solution ( ref. WTT4554) and the ‘trailing’ one left dry to mop up any excess solution.
